What is steam cleaning, and how is it different from a normal carpet clean?
Steam cleaning, also called hot water extraction, pushes hot water and cleaning solution deep into the fibres, then extracts it along with the dirt, bacteria and allergens. Steamy Wonder Cleaning pairs it with brush agitation, so it removes grime from the base of the pile rather than just freshening the surface.
Can you get pet urine smell out of carpet and rugs?
In most cases, yes. We treat the urine at the source rather than masking the smell, and heavily affected rugs are washed at our Morisset facility. If an old stain has permanently changed the colour of the fibre, we’ll tell you before we start.
Is steam cleaning safe for wool, Persian or handmade rugs?
Delicate and valuable rugs aren’t cleaned on your floor. We pick them up, inspect the fibre and dyes, then wash and dry them carefully at our Morisset facility before delivering them back. Pickup and delivery is free across the Central Coast.
How long does carpet take to dry after steam cleaning?
It depends on the carpet type, how soiled it is, airflow and the weather on the day. We’ll give you a realistic estimate for your job and tips to speed it up, such as opening windows or running fans.
Do you do end of lease carpet cleaning?
Yes. Steamy Wonder Cleaning cleans carpets for tenants, landlords and real estate agents across the Central Coast, and can provide a written condition report for your agent.
